I bought the black and really like these for a control top pants. They were tight, but aren't they supposed to be for the 'control' part? They are very comfortable when i am wearing them at work all day. They do what I bought them for - smooth out and hold in my stomach. It's not a white old fashioned 'girdle' in the pants either. It's a very sheer lining. It doesn't bother me at all. The zipper and hook in the back are hard for me alone, but I figured out the hook. I am a plus size and usually buy from Woman Within, Lane Bryant and Roaman's. I bought the size I always buy from them. They are a little longer than those stores pants. I believe they are a 31" inseam. I am 5'4" tall and they are a little long. They are perfect with boots or heels, but a little too long for flat shoes. I am going to have to hem them up. I love these dress pants, though. They are very well made and really dressy looking.

They looked good in the catalog, probably should have gotten a bigger size, but not willing to try. I returned them.
